Title:  Marrakech Express: How the WIPO Marrakech Treaty - if ratified - can help end the Book Famine and implement rights from the Convention

Objectives and Overview of the Side Event:
Member states and civil society will understand the connection between the Marrakech Treaty and the CRPD; and why it is so important that member states ratify this treaty as a matter of urgency.

A panel discussion among civil society and government representatives to provide a background on the treaty, its importance and implications for addressing access to information for blind, visually impaired and other print disabled persons.
